Tir'Rielle a magical island where my Stable in the Horseart Game resides. Tir'Rielle is an enchanted stable that dominates a tiny floating temperate forest island. It usually lies within a great mist, far in the unknown places, but it travels where it needs to in order to make its precious animals available to meet other equines. It is a magical island that shifts from place to place wherever it is needed.
The island is actually a series of volcanoes with its center an equine paradise. The border of the island is a thick layer of mist. Tir'Rielle is a thick forest with steaming warm hot pools, some waterfalls, crystals growing like plants from the ground and strange lights from fae that reside throughout the forest. The island's mistress is Tariel, a powerful shapeshifter and druidess. Normal animals talk, faeries flit all over and unicorns reside in the dales and forests. Tir'Rielle is guarded by the flying creatures, called the Skyguard and the landbound guardians who serve in many capacities.
While in Tir'Rielle animals do not suffer illness. They cannot die from old age or the effects thereof. Old horses feel very young and everything is renewed and sustained by magic. The magic also makes food and drink relatively optional (basically, nothing can starve). Pure manavores (creatures that can sustain completely off of magic) no longer have to eat while in Tir'Rielle). Tir'Rielle also offers mundane and magical healings to sick and wounded animals. Note StephanieSmall if you or a character is in need of healing.

Summary: A magical island where animals can speak, magic is prevalent and it is very hard to find. A strange magical mountain range protects the entire island, encircling it and allowing no entrance to the center of the island (without Abathia's permission). Thick, wild, ancient forests and plush fields of grass dominate the island. This island has mild but changeable oceanic climate with few extremes. The weather can be controlled by Abathia and some of the island's unicorns. The island moves around the world and it is where it needs to be at that particular time. It is surrounded with a thick multihued mist.
Players: Download if you want a copy, that works best. For use in my games only. Not sure why the HTML doesn't work right now. Any tips would be very helpful on how to fix that. I will describe both the location of each place with a description of where that would be on the unicorn head the Island appears to be.
Tir'Rielle Island
First of all, the whole place is forests. Towards the South it tends to be hotter and less green. Few denizens of Tir'Rielle make their home here.
The island is encased by a powerful, enchanted wall, known simply as the Wall. This wall is actually a series of rough, nearly impossible to traverse volcanic looking cliffs that tower about thirty feet into the air straight out of the water. This impenetrable wall is then coated an surrounded in a misty fog so dense you can only see a few feet in front of you. The wall is always slick with ice and

Island Details
Climate: This island has mild but changeable oceanic climate with few extremes. The weather can be controlled by Abathia and some of the island's unicorns.
Politics: The Ruler is Abathia. The Warden is Tariel Nimara. There are thirteen Herd Leaders (mostly unicorns) that rule the 13 provinces. The wolves, Schrei and wild beasts rule themselves. There is one Faery Queen and one Faery King on the Isle. They hold their own council beneath the ground in small hill homes.
The island's mistress Warden is Tariel, a powerful shapeshifter and druidess. She looks like a pale skinned elf with large wings, but it varies as to whether they are birdlike or batlike. Her hair color and eyes change color according to her mood, but are most often an iridescent hue. She is powerfully psychic and always knows when someone is about to come to the island (usually through the magical mirror, but not always). She often holds parties for these new arrivals. She never allows anyone to mate with an unwilling mare or stallion. Tariel is a powerful druidess and the island moves, shifts and is sensitive to her whims. The fey and equines on the island adore her and she loves them deeply.
Also on the island is Atarn, her lover, guide and mate who has been with her for as long as anyone can remember. He is rarely seen outside of the castle and those who have seen him forget his appearance quickly. All they can remember is a strange wisdom to his eyes and an uncanny knack of knowing the future. For those who have seen his true form, they see a pale, tattooed man with large ebony wings and black eyes. That form, unlike his more mundane elfin form is unforgettable and terrifying.

Tir'Rielle is a floating, temperate forest island about the size of Ireland. It usually lies within a great mist, far in the unknown places, but it travels where it needs to in order to make its precious animals available to meet other animals. It is a magical island that shifts from place to place wherever it is needed. The island is actually a volcano with its center an equine paradise. Beneath the island resides the Queen, Barbula. The border of the island is a thick layer of mist. Tir'Rielle is a thick forest with steaming warm hot pools, some waterfalls, crystals growing like plants from the ground and strange lights from fae that reside throughout the forest.
Sanctuary: The lead mare, the unicorn Goddess, Abathia actually resides in the deepest part of the forest, simply called Sanctuary. This is where the most magical of the fey reside and two great sites, the Birthing Pool where the mares go to have their foals, and the Horn of Plenty, a thick unicorn like tree that grows from the center of the island. Around this unicornhorn like tree, grows mushrooms that are magical and nutritious. They are often used in potions and spells by Abathia and the island's mistress, Tariel. The unicorns are drawn to Sanctuary and they often make their way there.
Holidays: Every May 1st, on Beltane, three unicornate equines of any sort are chosen to be a Unicorn of Aendariel. This means that they are responsible for maintaining the spells on the island and for helping to get rid of the beast from the Haengar woods, the darkest part of the island.
The moon resides on the top of the island's highest mountains. It was in this place only that the snow falls, and the only place on the island blessed with true winter. Perhaps the snow is truly shards of moondust, or maybe bits of unicorn magic slipping away from solid bodies only to become a soft dust. No one knows. Though it is cold, the snow never melts, it is as though a permanent enchantment has kept the snow in its permanently frosty grip. Fine too is the snow, in huge drifts it sometimes rises up at a single wing's flap. Though it has a slight icy chill, the snows of Tir'Rielle are more luminescent and more bright in the moonlight than any other snow. Every once in a while, huge drifts of glittering snow dance across on a soft zephyr, creating alabaster plumes that can be seen through the island.
And so it is, when the moon is meant to be full, the unicorn's powers grow. The greatest Mare, the Ancient One, the Shifting Queen, the Unicorn Goddess, the Abathia herself, goes to this cold place and blesses the moon, allowing it to rise and illumine the island even in the darkest of times.
Island Magic: Pervasive magic seems to seep into everything. Animals are often awakened into sentience when living here. Some animals develop magical abilities while others become physically more fit. Some animals cannot make the transition to sentience and magic and with great sadness and ceremony are escorted to the mundane world. A great plaque commemorates those who could not stay. It is through this plaque where large crystals are kept that those who left may be communicated with. It is the last blessing of magic that Abathia gives them so they are not so lonely.
Even the mistress Tariel has powers on the island. She is immortal and has the ability to shapeshift into nearly anything. She can do short-range teleportations. She has a lot of control over water on the island and some other basic magic. Atarn has a lot of magical power at his disposal. Like Tariel, he is immortal both in body and soul. He has control over magnetism and he is very good at teleporting. Atarn has some control over water.
Also, it is interesting to note that hundreds and hundreds of years ago, the island was about a quarter of the size. It has grown to expand, taking in rare creatures. Some of them are mundane creatures, many of which are now thought to be extinct, while others are magical beasts never thought to have existed.

Caer Cheval: The castle that overlooks the island's valley created by the volcano's rim is large and stately. The animals may freely wander the castle and it is certainly geared toward them as is the stable it overlooks. Both grand and intimidating, the castle was obviously built with a winged unicorn motif in mind and its walls are a solid ebony black. Malaba resides here, where she rules.
Deeper Wood: It will be located in Deeper Wood which is over by the unicorn's neck. The woods here are old, tangled and there are trees so huge that you can run along the branches in wolf form! They are as thick around as the barrell belly of a horse and they crisscross around each other in a violent tangle! The wolves of Deeper Wood run and rule this district.

The Art of Stephanie Small is a complex blend of mythical and real. This is your personal invitation to enjoy a tour through the magical and mundane. There is something beyond fantasy here. This is a mystical land just for you. If you like something real or mundane, Stephanie creates stunning domestic and wild animals. She studies biology and has a love of the ocean and wild animals. Horses, wolves, foxes, ponies, deer, dogs, cats, panthers, lions, fish, tigers and other creatures are some of the animals she draws. Stephanie Small is an artist located in California but she has spent time all over Oregon. Nature is an influential inspiration to Stephanie, as she seeks to augment and reflect what she sees around her in a variety of mediums. Inspired by medieval art, the fantasy and science fiction genre and more, Stephanie has developed a style of mythical realism. Stephanie uses a variety of styles and mixed mediums in her artwork. She regularly uses digital mediums such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Painter and more. She favors traditional mediums such as colored pencil, chalk, pen, ink, pencil, acrylic, watercolor. She has been known to adapt fabric, recycled art, recycled purses to create art that is both useful and stylish.
Stephanie has been interviewed and featured in several magazines and websites. Her artwork has been published several times in books and magazines. She is best known for artwork featured in publications such as the Page, the Twisted Vine, the Unicorn and others. Her artwork will be featured on the cover of several upcoming books and publications.
She often donates teaching, administrative assistance, research and artwork to many local non-profits. She has taught in-person and online classes on food preservation, writing, gardening, spirituality, unicorns, art and more. She has worked for (and with) the local government to initiate youth projects, senior events and business support.
Stephanie loves unicorns and the horses she grew up with. It is clear in her art. She also loves mermaids. She even has a set of mermaid fins she can swim in. Stephanie Small finds inspiration in the animals of the ocean such as whales, orcas, narwhals and dolphins.
