Personality: Carrion is sort of like a stealth horse. He's not very noticed unless, it comes to his personal projects. His projects include collecting herbs, avoiding everyone else and pretty much just being alone. He's never felt the need to run with a herd but he does feel lonely.
Anyway, on the island he is responsible for overseeing the organization of the library. He is not necessarily the librarian, but he is the one horse who knows more about the library than anyone else. He lurks there most of the time, spending his time reading, organizing and bossing around the real librarians (a small assortment of fey). He despises anything being out of order and finds pleasure in tormenting those who seem disrespectful to the library and its tomes.
This means too, that he has delved deeply into the arcane. He studied the light and the dark side of the occult. However, when it really comes down to it, he is good at heart. He'd never admit to it though. However, that good is slowly turning dark as he has become more and more devoted to his scientific studies.
He is intelligent, can speak and is effectively immortal as nearly all the horses of Tir'Rielle are.
As an unknown side thing, there is actually a evil, experimental scientist minded wizard who is trying to take over his mind and coinhabit. This wizard is contained in a phelactery which has been split into two parts. They were retrieved by the people who saved the Gygaxian horses, but the items were later lost and ignored, as they didn't come up as magical. On Tir'Rielle island, it was kept in the library. It was the wizard's experimental spellbook. Despite the fact that he knows that the wizard who owned it was responsible for creating and manipulating his breed, Snape is very interested in the DNA stuff. To make up for it, he's decided to experiment but only to use stallions and horses that wish to be involved. However, like the wizard did, he is making it more or a breeding project. Though Snape thinks he is in control, the wizard is very, very powerful and even now is seeing his goals reached even in death.
History: He was one of Dungeon and Dragon's early children. Pretty obsessed with learning and magic, he was always by his sire and dam's side, quizzing them about magic and spells. When Tariel Nimara offered that he live the Sanctuary-Of-Life, home of the Gygaxian steeds and instead go to Tir'Rielle a magical island, he agreed. Though both places were quite magical, he knew that Tir'Rielle was larger and had access to more books and texts.
He came to the place, eager to learn more and Princess Tariel Nimara, Warden of the Island, showed him the library. He pushed his way in and immediately began to seek knowledge. He hasn't really left ever since.

There is something beyond fantasy here. This is a mystical land just for you. If you like something real or mundane, Stephanie creates stunning domestic and wild animals. She studies biology and has a love of the ocean and wild animals. Horses, wolves, foxes, ponies, deer, dogs, cats, panthers, lions, fish, tigers and other creatures are some of the animals she draws. She has done animal pet portraits and is available for commission by emailing stephanie@clipclopworkshop.com for more information.

Stephanie Small is an artist located in California but she has spent time all over Oregon. Nature is an influential inspiration to Stephanie, as she seeks to augment and reflect what she sees around her in a variety of mediums. Inspired by medieval art, the fantasy and science fiction genre and more, Stephanie has developed a style of mythical realism. Stephanie uses a variety of styles and mixed mediums in her artwork. She regularly uses digital mediums such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Painter and more. She favors traditional mediums such as colored pencil, chalk, pen, ink, pencil, acrylic, watercolor. She has been known to adapt fabric, recycled art, recycled purses to create art that is both useful and stylish.
Stephanie has been interviewed and featured in several magazines and websites. Her artwork has been published several times in books and magazines. She is best known for artwork featured in publications such as the Page, the Twisted Vine, the Unicorn and others. Her artwork will be featured on the cover of several upcoming books and publications.
She often donates teaching, administrative assistance, research and artwork to many local non-profits. She has taught in-person and online classes on food preservation, writing, gardening, spirituality, unicorns, art and more. She has worked for (and with) the local government to initiate youth projects, senior events and business support.
Stephanie loves unicorns and the horses she grew up with. It is clear in her art. She also loves mermaids. She even has a set of mermaid fins she can swim in. Stephanie Small finds inspiration in the animals of the ocean such as whales, orcas, narwhals and dolphins.
